Haier Biomedical Won the International Project of the National Ministry of Health, the Democratic Republic of Congo

As trade liberalization and economic globalization speed up, Chinese medical device enterprises are moving faster into international markets under the new development pattern and era.

In December, Haier Biomedical won an international tender issued by the National Ministry of Health, the Democratic Republic of Congo on improving the blood processing capacity of blood transfusion departments and blood banks in provincial hospitals, with a total of 11 plasma freezers. This is another significant step for Haier Biomedical to explore international markets following the installation of its products at the Ministry of Health, China, and the Ministry of Health, India.

User-centered innovation has become the deep-rooted gene of Haier Biomedical’s growth.

Haier Biomedical has speed up innovation and research and development based on the needs of extensive international users. It has accelerated the localization of sales, marketing, logistics, and warehousing in Europe, America, and other regions and enhanced the ability to quickly understand and respond to the local users’ needs, striving to improve the company’s competitiveness in the international market.

In the meantime, our engineers have provided a series of training sessions focused towards the plasma quick freezers technology to be delivered, in an attempt to help international marketing personnel better understand the products, master their working principles, better understand the operation interfaces, and master the specific operations, so that they can expand the international markets more effectively.

Haier Biomedical's self-developed and produced plasma freezer features high standards and strict requirements to meet international and domestic requirements. It has been tested with 24 blood bags filled with 425ml 0.9% sodium chloride solution, which far exceeds the user's actual freezing capacity, and can deliver the best user experience. Previously, Haier Biomedical abandoned normal-temperature control accuracy to ensure low-temperature control accuracy. Now, Haier Biomedical has enabled temperature control accuracy in the whole temperature range of the quick freezer through optimized software and debugging programs, which can fully meet users' needs. In addition, Haier Biomedical has developed a language switching function for free switching between Chinese, English and French.

Haier Biomedical’s blood solutions have also won the national blood station projects of numerous African countries. They have solved problems for users in Africa, including unstable power conditions, uneven quality of blood storage and transportation equipment, and blood waste, and have won high recognition locally.

Moving forward, Haier Biomedical will continue to focus on user experience and localization development and participate in the building of a common community for human health with superior solutions, striving to make life better through the intelligent protection of life science. As an ecosystem brand committed to life science and medical innovation digital scenarios, in response to the “Healthy China” concept, Haier Biomedical’s U-Blood Network will push for the high-quality development of medical institutions continuously under the drive of innovation.
