Revolutionizing Blood Management: From Centralized Storage to Nationwide Smart Connectivity

Traditional blood management systems, which rely on centralized blood banks, often struggle with inefficiencies such as delayed response times, inventory blind spots, and fragmented logistics. Haier Biomedical’s integrated “hardware + platform + services” model offers a fully digital ecosystem that spans the entire blood management process — from collection and processing to storage, transportation, and clinical use:

• Cloud-Based "Smart Brain": A national-level blood data hub connects blood banks and hospital HIS systems, enabling real-time sharing of inventory levels, expiration dates, and temperature data, and boosting cross-institution allocation efficiency by 70%.

• Distributed "Capillary Network": IoT-enabled smart blood storage units installed in emergency rooms, operating theaters, and ICUs deliver blood supplies within 30 seconds, eliminating life-threatening delays.

• End-to-End "Safety Shield": Each blood unit is tracked with RFID tags, and automated lockout mechanisms are triggered if any temperature deviations occur during transport, ensuring 100% full-process traceability.

Three Core Technologies Setting New Industry Benchmarks

1. Smart Blood Management System

RFID technology enables automated inventory with a 99.99% data capture accuracy rate. Visual guidance tools further streamline workflows for medical staff.

2. Temperature-Controlled Logistics Platform

Real-time monitoring preserves optimal conditions during transportation, ensuring the quality and safety of blood supplies.

3. Smart Blood Supply Network

A distributed storage system enables zero-wait response times in critical care situations, significantly enhancing emergency preparedness.

On-site demonstrations at the conference highlighted Haier Biomedical's full product portfolio, including platelet incubators with agitators, blood bank refrigerators, transport coolers, and ultra-low temperature freezers, offering customized solutions for a wide range of clinical needs.
