1998, -40 degree C freezer entered the market;

2000, Haier blood bank refrigerators, deep freezers, and ULT freezers were registered in the Health Department of the Chinese Government;

2001, Haier was awarded a large bid of supplying 823 blood bank refrigerators for China’s Middle West blood bank construction project. Meanwhile, Haier blood bank refrigerators were installed in over 500 blood banks in China;

2001, Haier Group Company established a special manufacturing line in Huangdao Haier Industry Park;

2002, Haier deep freezer of -60 degree C and -86 degree C started to serve the Chinese market;

2004, Haier began its entry into the global market by supplying 10,000 units of ILR’s for India under a World Health Organization (WHO) project;

2004, Haier was charged to establish a new National Standard for ULT Freezer based on the requirements of the Health Ministry of the Chinese Government;

2004, Haier laboratory equipment began to serve customers in Southeast Asian countries;

2005,Haier was funded by the National Development and Reform Commission for about YMB 10,000,000 for research and development;

2005,Haier’s -156 degree C cryogenic freezers were launched into the market. This signaled the beginning of Haier’s medical and laboratory freezers covering most application temperature ranges;

2005,Haier’s blood work bench was developed to serve the market. The product filled the need of providing a work environment for proper processing of dispatching blood without cold-chain rupturing--a problem that existed for a long time prior. The quality of the blood supply was therefore improved. Additionally, Haier blood Worktable was certified by the Qingdao Science commission. Several more blood bank centers in China also started using the blood worktable;

2006,Haier completed the draft for Deep Freezer Standard for Chinese consumers;

2006, Haier released a line of new -86 degree C ULTs with the ability to communicate mobile message alarms and to remotely monitor unit temperatures; the technology was the first in the world;

2006, Haier released a new line of large-volume blood bank refrigerators of 576 liters and 936 liters;

2006, Haier biological safety cabinets were certified to the YY0569-2005 Standard;

2006, Haier launched an entire series of medical cleaning and disinfecting machines with self-developed IPs ;

2006,Haier secured the ownership of the AIDS Prevention and Cure Project specially funded by the Health Ministry;

2006, Haier supplied 70% of the ULT freezers for the Project of Person and Bird Flu Prevention and Cure;

2007,Haier medical research equipments were selected as the number one Brand in the Chinese medical low-temperature industry by "People's Daily - Market News", "brand" magazine and other authoritative media.

2007,China's first Self-developed large-capacity -86 degrees VIP-type ultra-low temperature refrigerator, DW-86L626 won  the first low-temperature self-innovation Gold Award in Chinese medical industry.

2008,Haier won in the tender of Chinese goverment procurement for assisting Cuba government.

2008,Haier won in the UNOPS tender in India and qualified supplying 15000 Ice-Line Refrigerators and Vaccine and Ice Pack Freezer.
